Education = Empowerment
Part of our mission at
The Outer Banks Wildlife Shelter and Education Center
is to teach people of all ages how to
happily and peacefully
coexist with wildlife.
Through educational programs
we are able to spread our mission to conserve and protect
North Carolina wildlife.
In every program you get up close and personal
to some amazing animals that you
may never see in the wild,
learn how to help wildlife by “going green”
and hear some cool facts that you maybe did not know.
There is nothing like seeing an owl
for the first time through your child’s eyes!
Fees from these programs go directly to the
care of orphaned, injured, and sick wildlife!
